In this course, you'll learn how to build a cohesive fashion collection from initial research all the way to preparing for production. Whether you're starting a brand or developing your first collection, this program will help you turn your ideas into a clear, strategic plan. You'll Leave With: A professional collection portfolio A defined brand identity Valuable feedback from your peers and instructor A clear starting point for moving your collection into production, if you choose Greater confidence in developing future collections This six-week program focuses on: * Defining your ideal client * Properly Sourcing fabrics and materials * Translating inspiration into practical silhouettes and color palettes * Developing fashion illustrations and collection sketches Course Breakdown Week 1: Defining Your Vision Explore your ideas and leave everything on the table to discover what sticks Define your target customer and ideal clientele Research aspirational brands and analyze who they serve Begin shaping your brand identity and collection direction Week 2: Research & Inspiration Conduct in-depth design and market research Build inspiration boards and concept development materials Includes a guided trip to a local museum for creative inspiration Week 3: Fabric & Trend Research Explore fabric options and sourcing strategies Learn trend forecasting techniques Research current and emerging fashion trends relevant to your collection Week 4: Sketching & Collection Development Develop fashion illustrations and technical sketches Refine silhouettes, color stories, and design details Begin building a cohesive collection Week 5: Refinement & Business Strategy Continue refining your collection Learn how to price your garments for profitability Discuss business sustainability and production considerations Prepare your collection for presentation Week 6: Collection Presentation Present your collection to the class Receive constructive feedback from peers and instructors Please Note: This course is designed focused, Not sewing focused. While we will learn how to use the sewing machine, this will not be our main focus!

Cancellation Policy
WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY. Thank you for choosing SiaDezigns! PLEASE READ We do not issue refunds for any workshop registrations. If you register for a workshop and later cannot attend, we will gladly provide a credit toward a future event if you notify us at least 72 hours before the workshop. To cancel and request a credit, please email siadezigns@gmail.com. We are unable to offer credits or honor reschedule requests with less than 72 hours’ notice. Arrival Policy Our classes begin promptly. Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before the start time to allow time to set up your sewing space. Students who arrive 20 minutes or more after the class start time will not be admitted, and the class fee will be forfeited. Class Minimums SIADEZIGNS reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. A minimum of 4 students is required for a class to run. If a class is canceled by SIADEZIGNS, registration fees will be refunded or transferred to a future class. Supply Lists Supply lists are available upon registration. If a list is not yet available at that time, you will be notified as soon as it becomes available. Photo & Video Release By registering for a class, you grant SIADEZIGNS permission to photograph or record you or your child during participation in classes. You also grant permission for these images or videos to be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to print materials, the website, and social media. Weather Policy If a class is canceled or rescheduled due to inclement weather, you will receive a credit to attend another class at a later date.
