Service Description
The next time someone asks, “Where did you get that?” you’ll say, “I made it.” Our Introduction to Sewing class is made for complete beginners. I’m talking about people who have never touched a sewing machine before... or maybe the last time you used one was 20 years ago. In this 5 week course, you’ll learn how to use the sewing machine, understand sewing patterns, and build the basic skills you need to make your own clothes. And you’ll start making projects from your very first class. By the end of the course, you’ll know how to: Thread and use a sewing machine Read and understand sewing patterns Cut and put together garment pieces Use basic garment construction techniques Sew with more confidence You’ll leave with: A lined tote bag A pair of shorts A t-shirt A beginners kit to make sure you continue your learning outside of the studio Everything is included in the class Sewing machines Fabric Sewing patterns Sewing tools and notions All materials needed for your projects This class is perfect for complete beginners or anyone who wants a refresher on the basics. Prerequisite: None! Just come ready to learn and have fun. Course Details Format: In-person Duration: 2-hour class, once a week for 5 weeks Day & Time: Wednesdays, 6:00 PM–8:00 PM

Cancellation Policy
WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY. Thank you for choosing SiaDezigns! PLEASE READ We do not issue refunds for any workshop registrations. If you register for a workshop and later cannot attend, we will gladly provide a credit toward a future event if you notify us at least 72 hours before the workshop. To cancel and request a credit, please email siadezigns@gmail.com. We are unable to offer credits or honor reschedule requests with less than 72 hours’ notice. Arrival Policy Our classes begin promptly. Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before the start time to allow time to set up your sewing space. Students who arrive 20 minutes or more after the class start time will not be admitted, and the class fee will be forfeited. Class Minimums SIADEZIGNS reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. A minimum of 4 students is required for a class to run. If a class is canceled by SIADEZIGNS, registration fees will be refunded or transferred to a future class. Supply Lists Supply lists are available upon registration. If a list is not yet available at that time, you will be notified as soon as it becomes available. Photo & Video Release By registering for a class, you grant SIADEZIGNS permission to photograph or record you or your child during participation in classes. You also grant permission for these images or videos to be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to print materials, the website, and social media. Weather Policy If a class is canceled or rescheduled due to inclement weather, you will receive a credit to attend another class at a later date.
