Service Description
Winter is long but your pants don’t have to be! Join us for our two-part Alterations Series, where you’ll learn how to hem your pants and skirts and make your clothes fit just right. **Book a class for you and someone else and receive a 15% discount. Code at the bottom In Part 1, you’ll learn how to: Measure for the right length Use a seam ripper Do a blind hem by hand (needle and thread) Use machine stitches that make hemming easy This class focuses on shortening or lengthening pants, skirts, and other garments. In Part 2, you’ll learn how to: Take in garments to improve the fit Adjust clothing so it fits better around your body Keep in mind that making clothes larger can be tricky depending on how much fabric is available, but if you’d like to give it a try, bring that piece along! What to Bring: For the first class: Pants or trousers Skirts Dresses you’d like to shorten For the second class: Garments you want to make fit better Garment Requirements: We’ll be working on everyday clothing, things you wear to work, lunch with friends, or casual outings.

Cancellation Policy
WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY. Thank you for choosing SiaDezigns! PLEASE READ We do not issue refunds for any workshop registrations. If you register for a workshop and later cannot attend, we will gladly provide a credit toward a future event if you notify us at least 72 hours before the workshop. To cancel and request a credit, please email siadezigns@gmail.com. We are unable to offer credits or honor reschedule requests with less than 72 hours’ notice. Arrival Policy Our classes begin promptly. Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before the start time to allow time to set up your sewing space. Students who arrive 20 minutes or more after the class start time will not be admitted, and the class fee will be forfeited. Class Minimums SIADEZIGNS reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. A minimum of 4 students is required for a class to run. If a class is canceled by SIADEZIGNS, registration fees will be refunded or transferred to a future class. Supply Lists Supply lists are available upon registration. If a list is not yet available at that time, you will be notified as soon as it becomes available. Photo & Video Release By registering for a class, you grant SIADEZIGNS permission to photograph or record you or your child during participation in classes. You also grant permission for these images or videos to be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to print materials, the website, and social media. Weather Policy If a class is canceled or rescheduled due to inclement weather, you will receive a credit to attend another class at a later date.
