Sewing Classes for Adults

I find the idea that adults can’t learn  sewing a funny one. A lot of my students confess that before they walked through the studio doors, they were worried they’d be surrounded by kids or really old people.

The irony? Apparently everyone else is allowed to take sewing classes, just not people their own age.

The good news is, whether you’re 6, 16, 36, or 66, you can absolutely learn how to make your own clothes. In fact, taking sewing classes as an adult is actually in your favor. You now have adult money, adult time, and adult freedom to sign up for a sewing class whenever you want.

It’s like when I use my free will to eat cake for breakfast sometimes. Who’s going to stop me?! Absolutely no one.
